Léman International School Chengdu (LIS) welcomes students from Pre-nursery to Year 13 on its 50-acre campus.
The Primary School uses the English National Curriculum for Maths, English, Computing and PSHE. This is integrated with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), currently used in over 1000 schools in 65 countries, to give a truly international educational experience throughout the Primary years. The Secondary School, from Years 7 to 11, is based upon the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, with Year 12 and 13 following the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. LIS offers foreign languages including Mandarin and French. Korean and German are also offered to its native speakers.
LIS has world class facilities on an extensive campus, including fully equipped modern classrooms, science laboratories, an art studio, music studios, I.T. rooms, maker spaces, gymnasium, 25 meter indoor swimming pool and further outdoor sports facilities, including two full size football pitches; this allows us to offer an extensive extra-curricular activity program as well as comprehensive sports and arts programs.
We are proud that 3 out of 4 of our graduates have chosen, and been admitted to, the world's top universities (according to the QS World University Rankings 2020). Our graduates attend the very best universities in the world, including Oxford, Tsinghua, UCL, LSE, UBC and NYU. We have graduates attending top Art & Design Institutes, including University of Arts London, the School of Visual Arts, and the Fashion Institute of Technology.
LIS is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the Council of British International Schools (COBIS). LIS is also a member of the Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS).

Our unique online and classroom collaboration platform, Global Campus, connects more than 80,000 Nord Anglia students, and the Nord Anglia University platform enables the very best professional development for our staff.
