SEK International School Qatar was founded in 2013 within the framework of the Outstanding Schools Programme of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar. The school today caters for students from over 60 nationalities. The teaching staff represents more than 25 different nationalities.
The school is an innovative coeducational, international and multilingual school in Qatar, with a cutting-edge learning campus located in the sophisticated West Bay district of Doha. English is the language of instruction, and the school also offers Spanish and Arabic courses for all students. Technology is embedded across the curriculum, supported by their staff as Microsoft Innovative Educators and a Bring your Own Laptop programme form Grade 4.
SEK-Qatar is an IB World School authorized to offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP), from pre-school to grade 12.
