Established in 1996 and based in the heart of Milan, St. Louis is a leading coeducational day international school that teaches over 1,600 students between the ages of 2 and 18 years old.

Our school is a member of Inspired Education, the leading global premium group of schools that offer excellence in education to over 85,000 students worldwide. From exchange programmes to exclusive camps, to leadership conferences and shared learning experiences, Inspired offers a range of enriching global opportunities which give students a chance to travel, meet peers from other countries and become a part of a vibrant international community.

Located across three different sites, our campuses are comprised of an Infant, Primary and Middle School, in the Caviglia and Colonna Campus, whilst our High School, located in Palazzo Archinto, neighbours the Duomo. St. Louis Caviglia is the founding campus, that haves incredible outdoor spaces to stimulate children's curiosity. The St. Louis Colonna is based in a former monastery in the north-east of Milan.

Once our students go to High school, they move to the historic grounds of Palazzo Archinto, designed in the 17th century by architect Francesco Maria Richini, that provides the students with the perfect learning environment, as it combines state-of-the-art facilities with a richness of craft and culture. The St. Louis School's academic programme is rigorous and challenging. The Infant School programme is based on the English Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum. Primary and Middle School follow the English National Curriculum and, at the age of 6 onwards, also have the option to follow the Italian curriculum. High School is comprised of IGCSE examinations for Years 10-11 followed by the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) for Years 12-13.

This approach reinforces the importance of creative and critical thinking and allows for the development of independent learners who are well equipped to succeed in the IB and their journey beyond. St. Louis consistently achieves outstanding academic results with the highest average IB diploma score in continental Europe seven years running; our average score for the past 8 years of students is a 37 out of 45.
