Taunton School International (TSI) is located in the South West of England on Taunton School's 56-acre campus in the heart of the town, close to the cities of Bristol, Exeter and Bath. TSI students benefit from access to a wide variety of academic pathways, wraparound pastoral care and more than 200 co-curricular and sporting activities. We have recently celebrated being named the Best Secondary School in Europe at the 2024 StudyTravel awards.
Taunton School International (TSI)
Taunton School International was established in 1996 and provides one-and two-year GCSE options and International Baccalaureate courses for students aged 14-18. Our academic programmes offer more than 23 subjects and are the ideal preparation for students wishing to go on to Taunton School Sixth Form to study A-Levels, IB, BTECs or a Foundation programme before going on to university. There are more than 150 clubs and societies and 120 sports teams available which provide many opportunities for our international students to integrate with our British students, including sports, orchestras, performing arts, after-school clubs, weekend trips and numerous inter-house competitions which run throughout the school year.
Taunton School International Middle School (TSIMS)
TSIMS is the newest addition to the Taunton School family and was established in 2012 to provide a crucial stepping stone into the British education system for younger international students aged 8-14 years old. TSIMS students are provided with an intensive education designed to meet all their educational needs and is the perfect choice for students not yet fluent in English.
Summer School
Taunton School has been running its own summer school for more than 20 years. Each of our summer programmes include 3 hours of English lessons and 2 hours of further tuition each day, taught by experienced and well-qualified teachers in groups of no more than 12 students (average class size is 8), as well as plenty of fun activities, trips, sports and cultural experiences. Students can attend for between 2 and 6 weeks between June and August.
Taunton School
Students already fluent in English or who have English as their first language can join Taunton School directly via our nursery, pre-prep, prep or senior school and we therefore welcome applications from students as young as 6 months, with a boarding provision for those aged 7 and above. Students naturally transfer between the different areas of Taunton School as they progress which allows for the best possible integration, academic success, and social development.
